The Ferrari 849 Testarossa has made its regional debut in Bangkok, marking the first appearance of Ferrari’s latest mid-engine flagship in Southeast Asia. The car was presented at IconSiam, offering regional audiences an early look at a model positioned at the very top of Ferrari’s standard production range.
While built on the same platform as the SF90 Stradale, the 849 Testarossa introduces a comprehensively reworked exterior and aerodynamic philosophy. From the visor-style front design to the twin-tail rear inspired by Ferrari’s racing heritage, every surface has been reshaped with airflow, cooling, and downforce in mind. Active aerodynamic systems further enhance performance, adapting seamlessly to driving conditions.
The return of the Testarossa name is deliberate. First used in Ferrari’s most extreme racing cars of the 1950s, it has historically been reserved for models that represent the pinnacle of performance and engineering in their era. With the 849 Testarossa, Ferrari revives the name not as nostalgia, but as a statement—applied only where the car itself earns the legacy.
